Thomson Reserve Attracts Over 23,000 Visitors Ahead of Sales Launch

Thomson Reserve

Thomson Reserve has drawn more than 23,000 visitors during its first week of preview, placing the Upper Thomson development firmly in the spotlight ahead of its scheduled sales launch on 31 October 2026. The response has come from a broad mix of prospective buyers, including young couples, HDB upgraders, investors and larger families.

A development with a broad range of homes

Located on the former Thomson View condominium site, Thomson Reserve comprises 1,268 apartments, with two- to five-bedroom options. This range allows buyers at different stages of life to consider the development, from couples purchasing their first private home to families seeking additional bedrooms.

Some prospective buyers are also exploring the possibility of purchasing separate units for different generations of the same family: a way to live nearby while retaining independent households.

What should buyers make of the preview turnout?

A busy preview indicates substantial interest, but visitor numbers do not translate directly into purchases. For prospective buyers, the more useful next step is to assess the actual units available. Layout efficiency, total purchase price, orientation and the position of a unit within the development will matter more to day-to-day ownership than the size of the preview crowd.

Buyers should also compare their preferred units with other new launches and resale homes within their budget.

Preparing for the sales launch

Before selecting a unit, prepare a shortlist of suitable layouts and establish a comfortable purchase budget. Having alternative unit choices can also make the selection process easier if a preferred option is unavailable.
